This is my story.

I'm Emma Bassas, an actress and improviser with over twenty-five years of experience. My journey began in theater and has expanded through clowning, improvisation, and original creation. For me, acting is a way to observe the world, transform it, and return it to the audience with humor, honesty, and a critical eye.

I am the founder of Cía. Dejabugo and Las Kakófonikas, and I am part of Impro Acatomba. I have collaborated with companies such as Ponten Pie, Iluya Street Theatre and Labú Teatre, working in different formats and performance languages.

I currently perform my stand-up comedy show Gossis, winner of Les Escèniques (Barcelona), and I've been the artistic director of the El Ganxo Festival in Sant Feliu de Codines since 2018. I work from a place of intuition, commitment, and the joy of creating. I believe in theater and fiction as spaces for encounter and transformation.
